Why use it. Show how much of the long side of open interest is held by reportable traders. How to read it. Higher values mean more long contracts held by reportable traders. Adding the nonreportable long count reconciles to open interest; do not add the long and short sides together. Changes can reflect trader reclassification as well as positions. This is one CME contract, futures only, not all exchanges or options. History starts with the report week plotted at 2021-05-03; missing reports stay gaps, and the current snapshot may include corrections.

Calculation. Use the total reportable long count, which includes reportable spreading positions, from the official CFTC Traders in Financial Futures report for CME Micro Bitcoin contract 133742, futures only. Each point is plotted at its report week's Monday; the exact report-as-of date stays in every observation. Reports normally describe Tuesday positions and are released Friday at 15:30 Eastern, with holiday and other exceptions; release instants are not inferred from that schedule. Every fetched vintage is retained, and no historical known-then availability is claimed. Any moving average is calculated over weekly observations.
