Binance's figures cover each coin on every network and with its custodian; our nodes can only check the coin on its own chain at the addresses Binance lists, so "seen" can fall short of "stated" by the coins it keeps elsewhere and can pass it where a listed address holds coins outside the snapshot. On Bitcoin and Ether we read the addresses of its current list and its monthly files in force at each moment; on Litecoin, Dogecoin and Bitcoin Cash every address Binance has listed. Binance also reports coins we don't run nodes for, such as USDT on other networks, BNB, SOL and XRP; they are not checked here.

What this page can and can't tell you

  • Binance's own lists only. Every address here is one Binance publishes: the files of its monthly proofs of reserves (22 November 2022 to January 2025; its later files carry no addresses) and the reserve address list on its proof-of-reserves page, as last read on 7 November 2026. No address is added by following transactions.
  • Not read after 7 November 2026. The endpoint Binance's proof-of-reserves page reads its statements and address lists from asks automated clients not to use it, so the statement here is its snapshot of 4 November 2026, the last we read, and the addresses are its lists as last read on 7 November 2026; coverage drifts as Binance rotates wallets. Our own nodes keep reading those addresses every hour.
  • Its statement is Binance's. The reserves and customer balances are what Binance publishes each month; the chain can't check what Binance owes. A proof of reserves shows coins, not solvency.
  • A lower bound. Coins on other networks, staked ether and custodian addresses Binance doesn't list can't be seen on our nodes.

Questions

How much bitcoin does Binance hold?

At 23:00 UTC on 8 Nov 2026 CryptoKeyhole's node saw 629,333 BTC at the addresses on Binance's own lists. Binance's snapshot of 4 November 2026 says it holds 685,732 BTC, which also counts bitcoin on other networks and with its custodian.

Does Binance have proof of reserves?

Yes. Binance publishes a snapshot every month of what it holds and what its customers hold, coin by coin, with a Merkle tree customers can check their balance in, and a list of its reserve addresses. The latest we read is dated 4 November 2026. We read Binance's statements and address lists until 7 November 2026: the endpoint its proof-of-reserves page reads them from asks automated clients not to use it, so none are read after that.

Is Binance safe?

The chain can't settle that. It shows the coins at Binance's listed addresses and whether withdrawals are moving. It can't show what Binance owes beyond its own statement, or how its keys are secured.

How much ether does Binance hold?

At 22:00 UTC CryptoKeyhole's Ethereum node saw 2,716,040 ETH at the addresses on Binance's own lists; Binance's snapshot of 4 November 2026 says it holds 3,446,615 ETH, including staked ether and ether on other networks.
