On the EU's register of firms authorised under MiCA, as CryptoKeyhole read it on 8 Nov 2026, 392 firms may provide crypto-asset services. Of the 21 exchanges and brokers checked here, 16 are authorised through an EU company, among them Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, Bybit, Crypto.com and Bitpanda; Binance, Bitget, HTX and Bitfinex are not on it, and MEXC is named by a national authority as serving clients without authorisation.

  • MiCA's transitional periods ended on 1 July 2026 at the latest, so an exchange serving EU clients needs this authorisation. Fees and products are not part of the register and are not shown here.
  • The register is updated by ESMA, usually weekly, and can lag an authority's own announcement by days.
