Sources and method

Every figure comes from the companies' own filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, read from EDGAR: their 10-K annual and 10-Q quarterly reports and the 8-K announcements in which they state their holdings; foreign companies that file with the SEC are read the same way from their 20-F and 40-F annual reports and their 6-K announcements. We found these companies by searching EDGAR's full text for TON holdings, and check each for new filings twice an hour.

A holding is the number of TON a filing says the company held on a date, taken from the report's tagged financial data (XBRL) or from its own sentences. In a quarterly or annual report we accept the figure when those coins, valued at our own TON/USD price for the date, agree with the fair value the same report gives for its TON (within 8%). An announcement is taken as it states the number, and is left out when it lies more than three times away from the company's reports either side of it. For a date covered by more than one filing, the latest filing decides. Every figure keeps its filing's SEC accession number, and each row links to the document that states it.

Holdings as of is the date the figure refers to: a quarter or year end, or the date an announcement gives (0 of the 2 rows come from an announcement). Share of the companies' total divides a company's figure by the sum of all of them. Value at today's price multiplies the coins by our own TON/USD price for the latest complete hour; it is not a figure the companies report.

The page is recalculated as soon as the ledger reads a new filing, and every ten minutes for the price. The figures on this page are free to reuse under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0): credit CryptoKeyhole with a link to this page.

Coverage and limits

  • Who is covered. Companies that file their reports with the US SEC (10-K and 10-Q, or 20-F, 40-F and 6-K for foreign companies) and state a number of TON held for their own account: 2 today.
  • Who is not. Companies that report only to regulators outside the US, private companies, foundations and funds and ETFs. Coins held for customers are not counted.
  • Filing lags. Holdings are as of each figure's date, not live: quarterly reports arrive up to 45 days after the quarter, and a company that announces purchases between reports shows its latest announcement.
  • As stated. TON a company has staked counts where its filing counts it in TON; liquid-staking tokens, and coins lent out or pledged, count only where the filing's own figure includes them. We do not adjust a figure.
  • Counted once. A company whose coins sit inside another filer's consolidated figure is named under the table and not added again; a company that files no new figure for 400 days leaves the total.
