Why use it. See bitcoin's market value as reported by an external provider, separately from native on-chain valuations. How to read it. Each hourly or daily point is the last actually retained provider snapshot in that UTC bucket, not a sum, average or period-end quote. It is the provider's field unchanged, not our native issued-supply valuation. The provider's selected exchange universe is not independently verified. Open buckets are partial and closed snapshots provisional and revisable; missing buckets stay empty. History starts 2026-10-05; earlier price-only observations cannot establish earlier history. Raw view only, with no formulas, smoothing or alerts.
Calculation. Extract the market-cap USD field from prospectively retained provider ticker response bodies with immutable acquisition receipts; receipt hash, raw-body hash, Bitcoin/USD identity and source rights are verified at read time. The provider's last_updated and our local receipt clocks are attached; acquisition time is not provider publication time, and source observation age determines freshness.
