Why use it. Provide a doubled long-term price average for comparison with price and shorter averages. How to read it. Daily only, in USD per bitcoin. Each value needs 350 consecutive positive admitted daily quotes; a missing or invalid quote invalidates every window containing it. Doubling is applied after the mean. Days are labelled at their start and use the following midnight quote; the open day is a labelled partial at its latest completed hourly quote, with no interpolation or carry. Values are provisional, revisable quote statistics, independent of native blockchain data, and are not forecasts or trading classifications.

Calculation. 2 × the simple mean of 350 consecutive positive admitted closed UTC daily ending-boundary quotes. Before the accepted cutoff the quotes are retrospective daily closes with unknown publication time, venue and vintage; later boundaries use retained prospective observations under the same quote rules. The complete quote prefix is evaluated before viewport filtering. Guarded sums and Decimal40 expressions are used.
