BTC: Never-Look-Back Price
Bitcoin Never-Look-Back Price was $75,772 on 7 Nov 2026 (latest daily value).
For each day, the lowest daily close BTC has made from that day to the latest closed day: the price below which it has not closed again since.
Why use it. It shows which price levels the market has left behind so far and since when. A level that has held for years is one that no buyer from that day onward has seen undercut at a daily close. How to read it. Where the line meets the price, that day's close has not been revisited since. Where it sits below the price, the market later fell back to the line's level. The newest days sit close to the latest price and change the most. The line is known only with hindsight and is not a floor for the future: a lower close redraws it.
Calculation. For each closed day d: the minimum of the daily closes from d through the latest closed day. It is recomputed after every daily close; when a close falls below earlier values, every earlier day whose value was higher takes the new low. BTC/USD prices are the site's admitted daily closes: from The Bitcoin Time Machine (CC BY 4.0) until 2 October 2026, then quotes recorded from Alternative.me at each boundary (within 15 minutes, never carried forward). Daily closes start on 17 July 2010; hourly quotes start on 3 October 2026. Every value can fall when a later close is lower, so none is final, and the open day has no value until it closes; the line is recomputed every ten minutes.
