BTC: BTC/USD Price at Daily Valuation Boundary
Bitcoin BTC/USD Price at Daily Valuation Boundary was $75,772 on 7 Nov 2026 (latest daily value).
The accepted BTC/USD mark at the ending UTC boundary of each reported day, in US dollars per bitcoin.
Why use it. Give daily chain activity and valuation a consistent price benchmark. A separate comparison axis shows price alongside another unit; it does not turn block counts or other observations into dollars. How to read it. The point labelled day D at 00:00 UTC uses the boundary at D+1 00:00 UTC. Read the native coverage and source status separately: a quote can exist while its native day is still partial. Provisional/final labels retain the native median-time-past seal and six-block-depth rules; final does not establish when a historical price was published or authenticate it. Available chart history is the intersection of accepted native valuation periods and admitted prices. This source has no daily prices before 2010-07-17; earlier history is unavailable, not zero. Missing prices or periods stay gaps, with no interpolation or forward fill. Source, price-admission and repricing holds remain in force. Historical price observation time is unknown; retrieval, calculation or page-refresh time does not replace it. Read the original coverage/clock labels rather than treating this guide or a refreshed chart as latest-hour proof. SMA/EMA/MM use their declared daily-observation warmup and gap rules before display reduction; select raw observations for the unsmoothed price.
Calculation. For each retained native UTC-day valuation period, look up its admitted 1-day price at the period end and project the stored market_price_usd field at scale 1 with 40-significant-digit decimal arithmetic. This is one boundary quote per bitcoin, not a daily average, volume-weighted price or sum over blocks. Ending boundaries before 2026-10-03 use The Bitcoin Time Machine retrospective previous-day USD close, under its admitted CC BY 4.0 terms: historical publication time/vintage and upstream venue are unknown, and the prices are unsigned. At and after that cutoff, use the latest actually retained Alternative.me quote at or before the boundary, at most 15 minutes old; an absent eligible quote stays undefined. Bitcoin comes from our locally validated native history; USD quotes require the separately admitted external sources and their existing attribution. There is no intraday execution-price or historical-known-then claim. Source-price/native revisions, original clocks and applicable finality remain attached to the existing series.
