BTC: Spot Volume Trend (7D) - Covered Exchanges
Shown as its 2–31 Oct 2026 sample; the latest readings and full history are included with Pro.
Change in average daily spot volume over the last seven days versus the seven days before.
Why use it. Shows whether spot participation is building or fading. How to read it. Positive values mean activity is rising week over week.
Calculation. 100 x (traded spot volume of the last 7 complete UTC days / the 7 days before - 1). Values begin once 14 complete days have been captured. Source: our own capture of the public spot trade feeds of Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, Kraken, Bitstamp, Bitfinex, KuCoin, Gate, Bitget, HTX and Crypto.com (taker side as each venue publishes it; Binance from its one-minute candles, which carry taker-buy volume). Trades missed during a reconnect are not estimated. Coinbase publishes the maker side, which is inverted; Gemini's trades are not captured, so it is in totals (from candles) but not in buy or sell volume. Stablecoin quotes (USDT, USDC, FDUSD) are counted at face value as USD. Venues we do not collect are not included, so totals understate the whole market. History starts when our collection began on 14 October 2026; no earlier values are reconstructed.
