BTC: Bear Window 2017-2018 - Path

BTC's daily closing quote as a multiple of its 2017-12-16 close, across the fixed window 2017-12-16 to 2018-12-16.

Why use it. Follow how price moved through this selected bear window on a scale that starts at 1, so windows can be compared. How to read it. 1 equals the start-date close; 0.5 means half of it and 2 means double. Dates are fixed and inclusive, with calendar timestamps kept. A missing start-date quote leaves the whole curve on hold; other missing days stay gaps, with no interpolation or carry. This is a retrospective selected window, not a predictive cycle classifier. Points are closed UTC days labelled at the day start; values are provisional and revisable.

Calculation. Path = close / start-date close, using admitted daily closing quotes from 2017-12-16 through 2018-12-16 inclusive. Historical quotes are retrospective, with unknown original publication time and venue. No open-day partial is used.
