BTC: Quote Ratios - Full-History Maximum Annotation
Bitcoin Quote Ratios - Full-History Maximum Annotation was 13.25 on 7 Nov 2026 (latest daily value).
A reference line at the highest Bitcoin's price has ever been against its 200-day simple or 90-day exponential average.
Why use it. It marks how stretched the price has ever been above its trend. How to read it. Ratios near the line mean the price is as stretched as it has ever been.
Calculation. Exact definition: A horizontal annotation at the highest value reached by either the quote-to-200-day-SMA ratio or the quote-to-90-day-EMA ratio over the entire retained daily history. The level uses the whole retained horizon, so earlier dates show a maximum known only later: this is explicit lookahead, not a trading signal. Changing the visible range does not change it, both ratios count only after their full seeds, and any interior input gap makes the annotation unknown. Day D uses the following 00:00 UTC quote; earlier quotes are retrospective closes with unknown publication time, venue and vintage, and values are provisional and revisable. Compute quote / 200-day SMA and quote / 90-day EMA from the admitted daily ending-boundary BTC/USD quotes, each after its full seed, over the entire retained closed-quote horizon; take the single maximum across both series and draw it as a constant horizontal level across the charted dates. Uses existing 40-digit Decimal arithmetic.
