BTC: Capitalization Dispersion — Priced Daily History
Bitcoin Capitalization Dispersion — Priced Daily History was $620,614,431,444.96 on 7 Nov 2026 (latest daily value).
The expanding population standard deviation of daily issued-supply market value from the first priced UTC day, 2010-07-17, through each day.
Why use it. Measure how widely Bitcoin's issued-supply market value has varied across its priced history. How to read it. Higher values mean market value has been more dispersed over the history so far. One observed point or a constant history has zero dispersion. Earlier history is excluded, never assigned zero. A missing or invalid input affects all later values until repaired; open or unsealed days are null, and a provisional contributor keeps later values provisional. Market value uses actual issued BTC, including genesis and lost coins, not free float. The viewport never restarts the history.
Calculation. Market value (ckh.DailyIssuedSupplyMarketValueUSD) is cumulative actual issued BTC × the admitted ending BTC/USD quote for UTC day D at D+1 00:00: admitted daily closing quotes before 2026-10-03, then admitted prospective quotes within 15 minutes. Standard deviation = sqrt((n × sum of x squared - (sum of x) squared) / n squared), with n counting every observed day including zeros, using guarded exact decimal moments and a square root rounded to 40 significant digits.
